बचपन का दमा एवं घरघराहट

Asthma causes repeated episodes of cough, wheeze and breathlessness, often worse at night, with colds, or with exercise. It is managed well with inhalers used correctly (with a spacer in young children), avoiding triggers, and a written action plan for flare-ups.

With good control, children with asthma can play, study and grow normally.

दमा में बार-बार खांसी, घरघराहट एवं साँस फूलना होता है, जो अक्सर रात में, सर्दी-जुकाम या दौड़-भाग पर बढ़ता है। सही तरीके से इन्हेलर (छोटे बच्चों में स्पेसर के साथ) के उपयोग, परेशान करने वाली चीज़ों से बचाव एवं दौरे हेतु लिखित योजना से इसे अच्छी तरह नियंत्रित किया जा सकता है। अच्छे नियंत्रण के साथ दमे वाले बच्चे सामान्य रूप से खेल-पढ़ सकते हैं।
