Paediatric Bronchoscopy
बाल ब्रॉन्कोस्कोपी
Bronchoscopy uses a small telescope to look directly into the windpipe (trachea) and breathing tubes. It is used to find the cause of noisy breathing, persistent cough or recurrent chest infections, and — importantly — to remove objects a child has inhaled (a common, dangerous emergency in young children).
It is performed under anaesthesia by an experienced team with airway support on hand.

ब्रॉन्कोस्कोपी में एक छोटे टेलीस्कोप से सीधे श्वासनली एवं श्वास-नलियों के अंदर देखा जाता है। इसका उपयोग घरघराहट भरी साँस, लगातार खांसी या बार-बार होने वाले छाती-संक्रमण का कारण ढूँढने और — मुख्य रूप से — साँस में खींची गई वस्तु निकालने (छोटे बच्चों में आम एवं खतरनाक आपातकाल) में होता है। यह अनुभवी टीम द्वारा एनेस्थीसिया में किया जाता है।
